ETHOS firmware like OpenTX firmware consists of an Official Release and a Release Candidate.
The difference between these 2 is as follows.
Being a Release candidate, new functions can be added and/or improved compared to the previous version. There may still be bugs in this. It is therefore the risk of the user to use these versions. But by using these versions you contribute to an accelerated development of the Operating System through debugging and new ideas and suggestions.
These versions are indicated by Version number + RC(candidate revision)
For example v1.0.11 RC3
An Official release actually consists of a stable operation of the latest Release candidate, whereby almost all bugs from the release candidates have been solved.
These versions are indicated with only the Version number
For example v1.0.11
